Group of eight assault two on grounds of Athens university

In the latest incident of violence on a university campus, two people were beaten up on the grounds of the Athens University of Economics and Business on Wednesday night, according to an announcement by the university’s senate.

According to the announcement, two people, including an administrative employee of the university, were hurt in the attack by around eight youths.

In comments to Kathimerini, academics indicated that the assailants belong to far-left groups that have occupied parts of the campus.
