Kifisia-Piraeus line (ISAP) to be fully air-conditioned during heat wave
STASY, the operator of Athens’s’s fixed-track public transport system, said Wednesday that train compartments will be fully air conditioned to cope with the heat wave currently gripping Greece.
“All our trains will have air conditioning,” STASY said in response to complaints about the faulty system on trains serving the Kifissia-Piraeus line (ISAP).
The company said the problem dates back four years, but added that maintenance work on the air conditioning system will completed in time to deal with the high temperatures forecast over the next few days.
