ESM chief in Greece, will meet with PM, FinMin

The head of the European Stability Mechanism, Klaus Regling, is in Athens and will be meeting on Wednesday with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and finance chief Euclid Tsakalotos.

Regling, who has said that he does not believe Greece’s creditors need to tackle the issue of debt relief until after the end of the current bailout program, will meet with Tsakalotos at the Finance Ministry at 4.30 p.m.

Later, at 5.30 p.m., the ESM chief will meet with Tsipras at Maximos Mansion.
