Hellenic Food Authority orders recall on canned tuna

The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) has ordered the removal from the market of a batch of Cavos canned tuna in oil because it contained above-accepted levels of the toxin histamine.

According to the authority, the batch has a manufacture date of July 27, 2016 and expiry date of 27 July, 2021. It is a product of Indonesian providence and is imported to Greece by D&N Margaritis, based in Thessaloniki.
