Israeli PM visits Thessaloniki
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected in Thessaloniki Wednesday to attend a trilateral summit with the leaders of Greece and Cyprus.
Netanyahu, who was to be accompanied by five ministers, will over his two-day visit also hold separate meetings with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades.
The visit comes as Cyprus and Israel conduct a joint military exercise on the Mediterranean island. An estimated 400 Israeli commandos are reportedly taking part in the drill.
