Parts of Ionia Odos highway in western Greece to be closed on Monday

Traffic measures will be in effect from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday on the Ionia Odos highway, running down the country’s western coast from Ioannina to the northern Peloponnese town of Pyrgos.

The northbound section of the highway will be closed to all vehicles, as will the left lane of the southbound section.

The purpose of the measures is to allow crews to place variable-message signs along the length of the highway.
