Economist and academic Pepelasis dies aged 95
Adamantios Pepelasis, a Greek economics professor who taught at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the University of California and the Athens University of Economics and Business, died on Saturday at the age of 95.
“Adamantios Pepelasis was an outstanding economist and academic and as head of Agricultural Bank and Emporiki Bank offered valuable services to the country’s economy,” Parliament Speaker Nikos Voutsis said in a statement.
