At least 15 arrested in connection with safe robbery gang

Police have arrested at least 15 suspects in connection with a notorious gang that raided safes in large businesses, Kathimerini reports.

The suspects, allegedly ethnic Greeks from Kazakhstan and Albanian nationals, were nabbed during a police operation late Thursday.

The suspects, which reportedly include leading members of the gang, are believed to have carried out more than 40 robberies in Attica and Viotia over the past three years.
