Moderate earthquake shakes Rhodes
A moderate undersea quake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, occurred south of Rhodes shortly before 1.30 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens Observatory, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The quake’s epicenter was located some 100 kilometers south of Rhodes town at a depth of 10 kilometers below the seabed.
