Probe launched into Aghios Cosmas ax death

Investigators were seeking to determine the identity of a man whose body was found in a derelict building in the area of Aghios Cosmas, southern Athens, on Tuesday afternoon.

According to sources, the man had suffered massive head injuries, apparently inflicted by an ax that was found near the scene.
