Thessaloniki still suffering water shortages due to cold weather

Thessaloniki was still suffering from water shortages on Friday after an Arctic cold front swept the country this week, even though the levels of the northern port city’s water tanks were back to normal.

According to the Thessaloniki Water Company (EYATH), pipes remain frozen, while water supply at higher altitudes in the city is taking longer to return to normal compared to other areas.
