Murder suspect arrested in Almyros, Magnesia
A 36-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in the village of Almyros in Magnesia, central Greece, in connection with the murder of a 64-year-old businessman.
The suspect worked for the victim, according to local media, which said that the body of the 64-year-old, who had died from gunshot wounds, was found by his son.
Police said the suspect, an Uzbek national, had personal differences with the victim, who suffered 13 stab wounds to different parts of his body.
Reportedly, the suspect also snatched 4,000 euros from the victim’s home before taking off.
The offender, who has confessed to the crime, was arrested by police in his home after a search that lasted just a few hours.
