Athens prosecutor orders probe into inflammatory reports in sports press
An Athens prosecutor has ordered an investigation into inflammatory reports that have appeared in the Greek sports press in recent days.
The inquiry was called in the wake of an outbreak of violence, including an arson attack Tuesday at a house owned by the head of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO)’s refereeing committee, Giorgos Bikas.
EPO has suspended all league soccer action since the attack.
