Individuals target MP’s office and minister’s home in Athens
A group of six individuals barged into the offices of conservative lawmaker Adonis Georgiadis in Exarchia, central Athens, on Thursday afternoon, throwing leaflets and painting slogans on the walls.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, some 30 members of the Rouvikonas anarchist group threw flyers outside the home of Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos in the Mets neighborhood, calling for the release from prison of Dimitris Koufodinas, a leading member of the now defunct urban terror group November 17, who is serving a life sentence.
According to reports, the incident was sparked by the refusal of judicial authorities to grant Koufodinas furlough.
