Armed robbers hold up drug warehouse in Athens
Three armed robbers made off with a large quantity of medicines from a warehouse belonging to the EOPPY healthcare fund on Monday night, police reported on Tuesday.
The holdup occurred at around 11 p.m. on 167 Pireos Street in the Rendi district south of central Athens.
The three gun-toting robbers, who had their faces covered to avoid identification, threatened the night watchman and raided the facilities, making off with hundreds of packages of drugs, police said.
