Seven to face Thessaloniki prosecutor for sexual harassment

Seven men, aged between 16 and 44, were to face a Thessaloniki prosecutor on Monday charged with robbing and sexually abusing a 23-year-old woman on Sunday morning.

According to the woman's testimony, the suspects mugged her and a 20-year-old man she had been with at the time and then sexually molested her.

After she reported the incident to police, officers used the description of one of the assailants to raid an apartment in the city. They turned up nearly two kilograms of cannabis, 5,760 euros, 11 cellphones and a large amount of jewelry.

The suspects face charges of robbery, sexual assault and drug dealing.
