74 fires break out within 24 hours

The country’s fire service was called upon to douse a total of 74 fires within just 24 hours, the service said on Wednesday.

Of the 74 fires, 32 broke out in forests or on farmland and the other 32 were in urban areas.

There were no reports of injuries or serious damage.
