Robbers tie up security officer, steal safe in southeast Athens

Four burglars are on the run after stealing a safe from a distribution facility of Mevgal dairy company in Aspropyrgos, southeast Athens, according to reports Wednesday.

Reports said four masked robbers forced their way into the building around 4 a.m. and tied up the security guard before removing the safe from the premises.

There was no information about how much was stollen in the robbery.
