Police make three arrests over central Athens murder
Three Bangladeshi nationals were arrested on Thursday for the murder of a compatriot on August 11 at his corner shop in the Aghios Panteleimonas district of Athens.
The 47-year-old victim had been discovered with his hands and legs bound and with a belt around his neck.
According to police, the three accused – aged 26, 28 and 30 – went to the victim’s store to commit robbery.
All of them have been charged with murder, robbery and weapons possession.
