UNHCR chief in Greece for three-day visit
The UN high commissioner for refugees, Filippo Grandi, was expected in Athens Tuesday for a three-day visit to assess the humanitarian needs of migrants and refugees hosted in Greece.
Grandi is scheduled to meet with President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, and members of the cabinet.
He is also scheduled to visit refugee facilities in Attica and central Macedonia to meet with asylum seekers and representatives of local authorities, volunteers and other partners involved in managing the refugee flows.
