Woman armed with note robs Thessaloniki bank

Police in Thessaloniki were on Friday seeking a woman who apparently used nothing but a handwritten note to rob a bank in the neighborhood of Epanomi.

Posing as a customer, the woman entered the bank branch shortly before 11 a.m., and presented a bank clerk with a note.

Sources said the note contained threats though it was unclear exactly what it said.

The clerk gave 9,000 euros from her register to the robber, who left on foot.
