FYROM citizen caught with over 100 kg of cannabis near Kastoria

Police in northern Greece were questioning a 39-year-old citizen of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on Thursday after an inspection on the car he was driving near the village of Eptahori in Kastoria turned up more than 100 kilograms of cannabis.

Police also arrested another FYROM national, 29, who had been driving another car ahead of his compatriot and who is believed to have been operating as a lookout.

The drugs had been concealed in 100 plastic packages divided into six rucksacks.
