Firefighters douse blaze in Maroussi
A fire broke out on Tuesday at a building housing the old offices of ANT1 TV station and a Public Power Corporation (PPC) branch on Kifissias Avenue in the northern Athens suburb of Maroussi.
The cause of the fire, which was swiftly put out by firefighters, was unknown, but authorities speculated that it could have been ignited by a short circuit in a transformer.
