Family of three charged over possession of illegal antiquities, drugs
Police in Grevena, northwestern Greece, on Tuesday arrested a 62-year-old man, his 53-year-old spouse and their 33-year-old son on charges of being in possession of illegal antiquities.
According to authorities, a police search of the family’s residence led to the discovery of over 350 objects, including vases, jewelry and coins dating from the Archaic period to Byzantium.
Officers also discovered one kilo of unprocessed cannabis as well as 18 cannabis plants. The family was also facing charges for drug possession, authorities said.
