Man remanded for shooting father of girlfriend who killed his ex wife
A 41-year-old man was remanded in custody on Monday after testifying before a magistrate for allegedly shooting the father of his 26-year-old girlfriend who killed the perpetrator's ex wife in Koropi, east of Athens.
The 41-year-old is believed to have shot his girlfriend's father. along with the latter's female companion, as he considered them guilty for the murder of his 35-year-old ex wife with whom he has two children.
The suspect has another two young children with the 26-year-old woman.
"It's all the father's fault," he said on leaving the magistrate's office. "I was wrong to leave my wife for that woman."
