Koropi killer claims victim provoked her
A 26-year-old woman was remanded in custody on Friday after admitting to an investigating magistrate that she had stabbed a 35-year-old woman in Koropi, eastern Attica, on Wednesday after the victim told her she was having an affair with her husband.
According to sources, the 26-year-old, who faces a murder charge, had been walking past the house of the victim when the latter verbally provoked her.
The 26-year-old reacted by going to her car, which was parked nearby, taking out a kitchen knife she had in a shopping bag there, and returning to stab the older woman to death.
