Briton accused of raping fellow countrywoman on holiday island

Police on the Ionian island of Corfu have arrested a 20-year-old British national on charges of raping a 18-year-old British woman.

According to initial reports, the victim said that the incident occurred in the early hours on Monday, when the suspect violently forced her to have sex with him.

The 20-year-old faced a prosecutor.
