Homemade bomb damages hotel in Vouliagmeni

A homemade explosive device detonated outside the luxury hotel the Margi in Vouliagmeni, south of Athens, in the early hours of Monday morning.

The blast, which occurred shortly after 5 a.m., damaged the hotel's glass facade but caused no injuries.

Police and bomb disposal experts were sent to the scene to investigate.
