Man arrested on child porn charges in Athens

A case has been opened by the police’s Cyber Crime Unit against a 33-year-old man who was arrested in Athens on Monday for allegedly peddling child pornography over the internet.

The unit traced the online material back to the suspect, while a laptop was confiscated from his home.

The investigation was launched after police received reports implicating the suspect in child pornography.
