Turkish aircraft intercepted over Aegean, in Athens FIR
Turkish military aircraft violated Greek air space in 15 instances on Monday, Greek authorities said. The violations were carried out by seven Turkish military jets flying over the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean.
The Turkish jets also entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) on two occasions, authorities said.
The aircraft, two of which were armed, were identified and intercepted according to international law, without further incident.
