Two men arrested for string of armed robberies in northeastern Attica
Police have arrested two men believed to be behind a string of violent robberies in northeastern Attica. The Albanian nationals, aged 33 and 43, were arrested on June 2 as they attempted to break into a home in Aghios Stefanos.
Police found a pistol, burglary tools, masks and plastic wrist restraints in their possession. The two allegedly tied up their victims and beat them until they revealed the whereabouts of hidden money and other valuables. The two faced a prosecutor on Tuesday.
