Former Greek Red Cross and Henry Dunant Hospital director arrested
Police in Athens on Monday arrested the former director of the Greek Red Cross and the affiliated Henry Dunant Hospital, as well as his wife, on a warrant issued by a corruption prosecutor.
Andreas Martinis, 75, and his wife Georgia are being accused of embezzling millions of euros and money laundering. He was also arrested in 2013 over hospital arrears to the IKA social security fund.
The will face a prosecutor on Tuesday.
