Notaries plan fresh strike action on Tuesday and Wednesday

Notaries said on Monday they will begin a new two-day nationwide strike today and tomorrow to protest the government’s planned pension reform.

This means all auctions scheduled Wednesday will not be held.

Meanwhile civil servants were also protesting the pension reforms on Monday and continued being absent from state council and committee meetings after a decision by the civil servants' union (ADEDY).

Their action will continue through to Friday.
