Refugee smuggler nabbed in Tripoli

A 31-year-old Syrian man, with two warrants for his arrest pending, was detained in Tripoli, southern Greece, on Monday for refugee smuggling.

Authorities said the two warrants were issued by a Thessaloniki prosecutor in February and early March.

The man was due to appear before a Tripoli court on Monday before his transfer to Thessaloniki for a hearing.
