Athens lodges complaint with Austria over Western Balkan meeting on migration
Athens has lodged a complaint with Austria after its decision to host an extraordinary meeting between the interior and foreign ministers of the countries along the Western Balkans migrant route.
Greece was not invited to the talks.
Athens has called Austria’s decision “unilateral and unfriendly,” adding that the Western Balkan states’ meeting was announced a few hours after an EU summit that adopted specific conclusions on the issue.
