Athens mayor to inaugurate children’s rec center

Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis is on Thursday due to inaugurate a children’s recreation center in a park flanked by Trifylias and Lakonos streets in the central neighborhood of Ambelokipi.

The center will include a lending library for children of all ages, a counseling center for children and parents staffed by trained psychologists, and a cafe.

The venue will also host events organized by the neighborhood’s cultural associations.
