Farmers continue blockades

Farmers were holding a blockade on both the new and old Corinth-Athens national highways on Tuesday, leading to traffic being diverted through Kalamaki, authorities said.
Tractors were also expected to block access on the Tripolis-Corinth highway at the Nestani toll station from 6 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, while another blockade was announced at the Evrotas bridge in Sparti from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Farmers are protesting the government’s planned reforms in social security, among other issues.
