Municipal employees to stage walkout

Members of the union for municipal employees (POE-OTA) will go on strike from 11 a.m. on Thursday until the end of their shift to protest against the government’s plans for pension reform.

POE-OTA members will ride motorbikes from the union’s offices near Karaiskaki Square in Athens to Parliament at around noon, which may cause traffic problems in the city center.
