Search continues for woman wanted over freezer body
The Greek Police has alerted Interpol in its search for a 45-year-old Bulgarian woman in connection with the discovery on Tuesday of a man’s body in a freezer.
The suspect, who is said to have had a child with the 65-year-old victim, allegedly left Greece about a year ago, around the same time he was reported missing by his brother.
The body of the ex-seaman was discovered by a court bailiff in the freezer of an apartment in the southern Athenian suburb of Kallithea. He was wrapped in an fetal position, with his mouth taped shut. The cause of death has yet to be determined, though sources said that the plastic and cloth he was wrapped in were covered with blood around his head.
