Greek FinMin meets Schaeuble in Berlin
Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos has concluded a meeting with his German counterpart Wolfgang Schaeuble in Berlin, according to reports.
No statements were made after the 70-minute meeting which is said to have focused on the progress of Greek reforms and the participation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the country’s bailout program.
Foreign creditors have penciled in January 18 to start a review of reforms agreed under the latest bailout. Its completion will pave the way to long-awaited talks on ways to reduce a debt burden about 1.8 times the size of annual Greek economic output.
