Athens police seek hammer-wielding burglars
Police in Athens were on Thursday seeking the perpetrators of a burglary on Wednesday evening in the central district of Aghios Panteleimonas.
According to an account given to police by the victim, a Chinese national, four intruders broke into her home wielding hammers and forced her to hand over cash and valuables.
After searching the third-floor apartment, the burglars made off with 10,000 euros.
The woman was not injured.
