Dourou takes legal action against phony friends
Attica Governor Rena Dourou has taken legal action against alleged members of a racket impersonating political officials for financial gain, the former SYRIZA MP said on Monday.
Dourou told journalists that at least one individual posing as a close friend of hers was asking for kickbacks to perform services related to the Attica Regional Authority.
She said a second suspect recently testified in court pretending to be a close aide and adviser.
Dourou said she did not recognize the suspects.
She revealed no more details about the case.
