Half of Greeks see worse year ahead
One in two Greeks fear the situation in their country will degenerate in 2016 rather than improving, according to a new opinion poll, which found that six in 10 expect Grexit scenarios to return.
A total of 55.1 percent of respondents polled by Kapa Research for To Vima newspaper said they believed things would get worse this year.
The same survey found that one in two Greeks believe the fragile coalition between SYRIZA and Independent Greeks will not last and a new government will have to be formed. As for a potential Greek exit from the euro, 61.1 percent said they considered it likely, with six in 10 saying they want to remain in the eurozone and 30 percent favoring Grexit.
