Greek PM’s UN trip cost less than in previous years

It cost Greek taxpayers 38,000 euros to send Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his advisers to the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September, according to figures provided on Tuesday by State Minister Nikos Pappas.

Responding to a question in Parliament, Pappas said that this was about 30 percent down on previous such trips by Greek prime ministers.

He said the cost of sending the Greek delegation in 2010 was 55,000 euros, while in 2013 it reached 54,400.
