Egyptian president expected in Athens for trilateral talks
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is due to visit Athens on Wednesday. Al-Sisi has been invited to Greece by President Prokopis Pavlopoulos but the main purpose of his visit will be to attend the trilateral summit with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades.
Cooperation on energy issues is expected to be the main subject in the three-way talks in Athens.
Al-Sisi, however, will also hold separate meetings with Pavlopoulos and Tsipras, while a delegation of Egyptian officials will hold talks with Greek government representatives.
