Thessaloniki couple accused of prostituting daughter
A 15-year-old Bulgarian girl is receiving medical attention and psychological support at a Thessaloniki hospital after a police investigation revealed that her parents had been prostituting her for the past two years at least.
According to the charges made against her mother, aged 36, and father, 42, the girl was violently forced to perform sexual acts with men in exchange for money that was kept by the parents.
The man and woman have been arrested and police are looking for a third Bulgarian woman who is believed to have arranged the encounters and escorted the girl to an apartment in the city center where these would take place.
