Suburban railway to hold work stoppage

There will be disruption to the Proastaikos suburban railway service from around 9 p.m. on Wednesday due to a work stoppage by staff.

Employees will walk off the job from 9 p.m. until the end of their shift, which means the stoppage will last for three hours. This will lead to the cancellation of some journeys to and from Athens International Airport, among others.

The morning train between Halkida and Oinoi (No. 12549) will also not run on Thursday.
