Suspects sought in Kouvaras shooting
Police in central Greece were searching for a 74-year-old man and his two sons, aged 45 and 48, Wednesday after they allegedly attacked two other brothers, aged 41 and 46, in the area of Kouvaras.
According to officers, the 48-year-old shot at the two victims, injuring them in the legs. Then, the father and the other son attacked the injured men with shepherd’s crooks.
The vehicle belonging to the three attackers was found abandoned later in the day.
The two victims were taken to the hospital in Agrinio, where they are being treated for their injuries. It is believed the attack was connected to a land dispute.
