Greece rules out military role in Syria effort
Greece ruled out on Monday participating in military activities in Syria following the terrorist attacks in Paris.
“Greece’s role as a guarantor of stability in the broader region is more valuable than being part of the war,” Defense Minister Panos Kammenos told ANT1 TV.
Speaking to Skai TV, Alternate Defense Minister Dimitris Vritsas also rejected the idea of Greece providing military support but indicated that it is willing to join the diplomatic effort to end the war in Syria.
