Serres police net gang of young robbers
A gang of young robbers has been smashed in Serres, northern Greece, police said.
The gang, consisting of four men aged between 17 and 22, broke into at least three stores and attempted to force their way into a fourth, according to officers.
The gang is alleged to have stolen some 6,500 euros’ worth of goods that it then sold in Thessaloniki.
The suspects are said to have loaded the merchandise into stolen cars, which they later abandoned.
